re: laptop
Well, I was reunited with my laptop. That is, until it decided not to turn on this morning. Called HP and I have to send it back. Again. Great. I'm confused as to why they replaced the hard drive in the first place, as all I needed was a new display. The first guy I talked to said he thinks the people working on it missed some problem with the motherboard while the second guy I spoke with thought the hard drive needed to be reformatted...that is, until I told him that the repair people just put in a new one. Wasn't the purpose of me coming home this weekend to get my laptop and bring it back to Athens?

Screw this. Next time, I'm getting a Mac.

If I had the money, I would definitely consider investing in a Mac. I don't know... I've dealt with the on-campus tech people too many times but I've been happy with their service. Maybe you can try them next time?

Yeah, I like Macs, but they are pricey. I'm not sure if the campus ppl are able to work on HPs?
